As a designer, filmmaker, and digital media strategist, I leverage new and emerging technologies to help economists, Nobel laureates, policymakers, industry leaders, and organizations elevate their messages and drive meaningful change.
Currently, I serve as Senior Officer of Digital Media at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics at the University of Chicago, where I lead the creation of engaging and accessible content for a global audience of policymakers, people in the media, academics, and the general public. This includes producing videos, podcasts, infographics, and interactive data visualizations that translate intricate economic research into user-friendly formats, strengthening the institute’s reach and influence. I’m passionate about making information accessible to everyone, believing that strategic, targeted, and clear outreach can lead to a more informed and equitable world.
To that end, along with graphic design and filmmaking, my background also spans full-stack WordPress development, UX/UI design, and data storytelling, combining a creative vision with a technical skillset. I consistently seek opportunities to leverage new technologies and innovative approaches to maximize impact and engagement for diverse audiences.
My career has allowed me to contribute to diverse organizations, including political groups like President Obama’s grassroots initiative, Organizing for Action, where I served as a social media and communications fellow; government agencies like Argonne National Laboratory, where I developed marketing campaigns; and academic institutions where I led digital communications efforts. I’ve also collaborated as a contractor with prominent organizations and startups.
Ultimately, my goal is to inspire change by making knowledge more accessible and impactful — leading to an engaged and better-informed public, contributing to a better world.
